The only way to save Pepperland is to find help, so Old Fred, a sailor, sets off in the Yellow Submarine to find the Beatles. He enlists their help by bringing them to Pepperland. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles and adventures, but ultimately, they arrive and confront the Blue Meanies. With the power of love and music, the Beatles manage to defeat the Blue Meanies and restore Pepperland to its former glory. The movie concludes with a joyous celebration and a message of peace and unity.
